I began working in the beauty industry in 2005 at an Aveda Concept Salon in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Shortly after I began I became an Aveda Hair Cutting Coach and Manager. In this position I learned the latest Aveda hair cutting concepts and trends. I used these skills to provide professional development opportunities for staff. My passion for formal hair styling took off in 2008 when I did a photo shoot for a feature in Brava Magazine. This love for formal hair styling has provided me with opportunities to work with brides and bridal parties all over the state. In 2018 my work was featured on social media pages and industry websites including: Aveda, Behind the Chair, and Premier Bridal companies and continue to be featured on a regular basis. One of my passions is using my passion, experience, and knowledge to teach upstyling classes to professionals looking to improve their upstyling talent. In 2018 I began working at an Aveda Concept Salon located in Downtown Madison, Wisconsin. I continued to manage staff and use my knowledge as an Aveda Ambassdor to excel the team and share my passion for my craft. I am so excited for this next chapter in my career and I cannot wait to see you at BK Salon!
